Suspect advice! Took a G-Shock watch into get the battery replaced only to be told that it was faulty and that they changed the battery but it still didn't work. Not really believing that a G-Shock watch could fail after no hard knocks I took it to a another jeweller who promptly replaced the battery and brought the (apparently) dead watch back to life.
